BIOGRAPHY
After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan School of Art & Design, Peter co-founded a Toronto based design firm where he served as creative director for ten years. Peter's art is greatly influenced by his graphic design background and his respect for the fine craftsmanship of old-world artisans and craftsmen. Gottlieb's work is created with meticulous precision and attention to detail. By adding a subtle three-dimensional quality, his pieces are intended to become kinetic through the viewers movements. The processes of geometric etching and weaving are evident throughout much of Peter's body of work.
